CITIES INTRODUCTION - JIANGMEN

As one of the best tourist cities in Mainland China, Jiangmen houses many scenic attractions. Among them, the Kaiping Diaolou and Villages is the only world heritage in Guangdong Province. 

Jiangmen is known as the Number 1 hometown of overseas Chinese in China. Functions as the hub gateway city of the west wing of the Greater Bay Area, the city has built ten highways and the Jiangmen Station of Zhuzi Comprehensive Transportation Hub, which has eight platforms serving 20 High-speed Rail routes. These facilities formed a modern integrated transportation network to strengthen Jiangmen's connection with other cities in the Greater Bay Area. 

The Chinese government is dedicated to building Jiangmen into an advanced and robust manufacturing city to develop five major emerging industries: high-end equipment manufacturing, new-generation information technology, new energy automobiles and auto parts, medical and healthcare, and new materials. The authority also pushes forward the construction of Jiangmen Daguang Bay Economic Zone. It is a crucial specialty cooperation platform of the Greater Bay Area to deepen the collaboration with Hong Kong and Macao in finance, tourism, cultural innovation, e-Commerce, marine economy, vocational education, life and health. Talent recruitment, and youth innovation and entrepreneurship are of high priority in the government's work plan.
