YO PLACE Volunteer Team Recruitment
The YO PLACE Volunteer Team has officially been established. We hope to integrate the experiences and strengths of our members as well as YO PLACE's resources to contribute to society. If you are interested in serving people in need from various sectors, enriching your life, and expanding your social network, whether you are a student or a working youth in different industries, you can now register as a YO PLACE member and become part of our volunteer team.
We will provide diverse volunteer services, such as supporting the elderly and youth, environmental conservation, and more. As a member of the volunteer team, you will have the opportunity to provide input and participate in the planning of service activities. You will also have the priority joining volunteer activities organised by YO PLACE.

Volunteer team members must be YO PLACE members. If you are not yet a member, please register by clicking here.
- The registration period for the YO PLACE Volunteer Team will begin on September 18, 2023 (Hong Kong time) and will be open for registration throughout the year.
- Participant must be YO PLACE members aged 16 to 45.
- YO PLACE shall not be responsible for any delay, loss, error, unrecognisable information submitted by members due to any technical problems such as network issue.
- YO PLACE reserves the right to cancel the registration of any participant who deems to have submitted incorrect or incomplete information or performs dishonest behaviour.
- Registering as a volunteer team member indicates your willingness to receive promotional messages related to YO PLACE volunteer activities.
- Members must abide by the volunteer team's code of conduct. If any violations are discovered or suspected, YO PLACE has the right to revoke the volunteer qualification of the member without further notice.
- After attending the volunteer activities, members can apply to YO PLACE for a record of service certificate.
- YO PLACE reserves the right to change the terms and conditions, cancel and/or terminate this volunteer team at any time without prior notice. - Volunteer work is driven by compassion and the personal desire to serve others or society, without seeking any material rewards.
- Before participating in volunteer activities, volunteers should assess whether the service is suitable for their personality or physical condition.
- YO PLACE will purchase event insurance for volunteers for each volunteer activity, but volunteers should also remain vigilant regarding potential risks in the service or work environment, ensuring the safety of themselves and the service recipients.
- Volunteers should fulfill their service commitments and attend activities punctually. If any unexpected circumstances arise, please notify YO PLACE as soon as possible for necessary adjustments in manpower.
- Volunteers should ensure compliance with confidentiality guidelines and ensure that service recipients' information is used for designated purposes. Volunteers must not request personal information from service recipients or disclose it to external parties without authorisation.
- Volunteers should not take photos or videos of service recipients without prior approval from YO PLACE.
- Volunteers should refrain from making commitments or engaging in other forms of commercial promotion to service recipients.
- If a volunteer's inappropriate behaviour causes harm to other participants, service recipients, or YO PLACE, their qualification in the volunteer team may be immediately terminated, and subsequent notification will be sent via email.
- YO PLACE reserves the right to revise this Volunteer Team Code of Conduct at any time without prior notice.
